Raised Lacerations make it easier for beginners to grab tissue and evert wound edges. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Zone 1: 

Practice with suture sizes 3-0, 4-0, 5-0

You can practice very fine sutures on the top laceration (6-0, 7-0)

 

 

 

Zone 2:

Practice with 2-0, 3-0 for gaping wound closure

 

 

 

Zone 3:

Once you become a pro, challenge yourself with these more complicated closure techniques.
